Law No 305 on the Efficient and Rational Use of Energy

This law consists of three succinct articles (i) declaring Bolivia's national interest in implementing plans, programmes and projects concerning energy efficiency; (ii) declaring the substitution of incandescent light bulbs for energy efficient fluorescent bulbs to be carried out through education campaigns; and (iii) that the executive branch in coordination with regional governments will develop education campaigns concerning efficient consumption of energy and light bulb recycling.
