Climate targets: LULUCF
-
-
2030: the forest cover remains stable at 42%
2050: the forest cover remains stable at 42 – 43% -
Ensure a minimum 42% of forest coverage; area of terrestrial reserves equals 9% of land area, area of reserved sea waters and coastal sites equals at least 5% of natural area of national sea waters.
-
Maintain forest coverage at 43% and ensure area of national forest; ; area of sea and coastal reserves reaches 6% of natural area of national sea waters.
-
By 2030, LULUCF sector reduces 70% greenhouse gas emissions and increases 20% of carbon absorption compared to the business as usual (BAU) scenario, total emission and absorption reach at least -95 million tonne of CO2td
-
By 2050, LULUCF sector reduces 90% greenhouse gas emissions and increases 30% of carbon absorption compared to the business as usual (BAU) scenario, total emission and absorption reach at least -185 million tonne of CO2td
-
By 2030, decrease greenhouse gas emissions by 70% in LULUCF compared to BAU in which the carbon sequestration capacity is expected to increase by 20%
-
Planting production forest: about 340,000 ha/year in 2030
-
To manage the rational exploitation, terminate the exploitation of natural forests and raise the area of natural reserves to over 3 million hectares; Increase forest coverage to over 45% by 2020
-
Reduce GHG emissions through reduction of deforestation and forest degradation, increased greenhouse-gas sequestration by forests, contributing to achieve the target of reducing 20% of the total emission in the agricultural sector by 2020 against a 2016 baseline
-
Increase the national forest cover rate to 44-45% by 2020 against a 2010 baseline
-
Increase the national forest cover rate to 44-45% by 2020 against a 2016 baseline
-
Forest cover of 42-43% attained in 2010 and 47% by 2020 by 2010, 2020 against a 2010 baseline
