Executive Order 13677: Climate-Resilient International Development

This executive order requires that all government agencies integrate climate resilience into their international development work to the full extent permitted by law. Most importantly, requires agencies to assess the risks to their projects and adjust the projects appropriately. It also requires government agencies to cooperate in sharing data, assessing risks, and monitoring progress in implementing climate resilience considerations. Additionally, this law establishes a Working Group on Climate-Resilient International Development, whose task is to establish guidelines for implementing this law.
