2nd Basic Plan for Climate Change Response

This document is the overarching national plan for climate actions. It aims to limit the national GHG emissions to 536 MtCO2eq by 2030. To achieve these objectives, the Republic of Korea set out climate mitigation and adaptation measures by sector under its core strategies; transition to a low-carbon society, establishment of a robust adaptation system, and enhancement of a climate change response framework.
