Passed in 1982
This act requires the Minister of Education, Science and Technology to create a comprehensive nuclear energy plan every five years and assign responsibility for executing it, creates the Nuclear Energy Promotion Commission for deliberating and resolving policy questions related to nuclear energy, allows research organizations to study nuclear energy, requires the Minister of Education, Science and Technology to create a project plan for supporting nuclear energy projects and providing them with financial assistance, and creates the Nuclear Energy Research and Development Fund to finance projects with nuclear energy R&D potential.
