Law 19/2014 Defining the bases of the environment policy

Art. 11 of this law states that the environment policy also covers components associated with human behaviour, namely climate change, waste, noise and chemical products, namely with the following objectives:
a) The policy to combat climate change implies an integrated view of the various socio-economic sectors and biophysical systems through a development strategy based on a competitive low carbon economy, in accordance with the adoption of mitigation and adaptation measures , with a view to reducing vulnerability and increasing the capacity to respond to the negative impacts of the aforementioned changes.
