Climate Change Act
Its climate target for 2030 is to reduce GHG emissions by at least 50-55% compared to 1990 levels (section 3)
Its climate target for 2050 is to become a low-emission society by 2050. The target is to reduce GHG emissions by 90-95% compared to 1990 levels.
Section 5 ensures that these climate targets are reviewed every five years and that they are consistent with Norway's NDCs under the Paris Agreement.
