This Act comprises 163 articles grouped into 12 chapters, including the general provisions, the use and exploitation of the public hydraulic domain, the development and use of rainwater, the valuation and use of unconventional waters, the administration of water and water planning, and water conservation, among others.
It aims to put in place planning rules and tools, including wastewater, drinking water
seawater and others to increase water potential taking into account climate change in order to to adapt to it.
