This document outlines Israel's plan for implementation of the Paris Agreement, signed by Israel in April 2016, in relation to the following central subjects: i) Reduction of GHG emissions, the country set a national target of reducing GHG emissions to 8.8 tons CO2 equivalent per capita by 2025 and 7.7 tons CO2e per capita by 2030; ii) Monitoring and Control; iii) International Financing; iv) Accompanying the International Negotiations; v) Training Program.
The main focus of the Plan is mitigation.
