Energy Resources Regulations (Testing Energy Efficiency of Pumping Installations) 2004

The regulations set energy efficiency standards for induction motors, preventing the manufacturing, sale, import, marketing or exhibition of Pumps (installations composed of an electrical motor and water pump with an electrical consumption of 150,000 KWH per year or more), if they fail to meet the standards set in the regulations.
