Law on the statute of the National Disaster Management Organization

This law outlines the role and responsibilities of Iran's National Disaster Management Organization. It establishes a High Council of Crisis Management to create national policies and programs related to comprehensive crisis management, set a budget for crisis management, take legal action for defining government roles and responsibilities during disasters, promote research and development, and propose necessary legislation. It also establishes a Country Crisis Management Organization to handle the day-to-day functions of disaster management, and establishes a Disaster Management Coordination Council as a stakeholder forum.
