The Electricity Supply Business Plan (Rencana Usaha Penyediaan Tenaga Listrik, RUPTL) prioritises development of new renewable energy (Green RUPTL), implementation of minimum energy performance standards for appliances, as well as the development of new renewable energy in Indonesia.

Regarding renewables, the RUPTL plans for the 23% share from renewables as dictated by the 2014 National Energy Policy.
