Green Hydrogen / Green Ammonia Policy

Building on the National Hydrogen Mission released by the Prime Minister in August 2021, this document sets India's strategy to meet its goal of becoming a global green hydrogen hub. It identifies the production of hydrogen and ammonia from unconsumed renewable power and connectivity to the grid as priorities. 

The policy sets the framework so that hydrogen / ammonia manufacturers can purchase and use unconsumed renewable power.
