Climate targets: Economy-wide

    • Honduras commits to a 16% reduction in emissions compared to the “business as usual” (BaU) scenario by 2030 for all sectors excluding LULUCF. The effort will be divided between sectors as following: 9% for energy, 5% for agriculture, 1% for industry and 1% for waste. From 2016 iNDC: 15% reduction in GHG emissions by 2030 compared to the BAU scenario

    • By 2022 the country will have the institutional framework it needs for climate change adaptation and mitigation, physical vulnerability will be reduced by 50%.
