National Strategy on Climate Change of Guinea

Passed in 2019
This document sets out Guinea's vision and objectives for action on climate change, concerning both mitigation and adaptation.

The strategy is centred around 9 strategic axes:
1. Promotion of measures to reinforce climate resilience
2. Promotion of sectoral measures to limit greenhouse gas emissions
3. Capacity building
4. Promotion of technology transfer and adoption 
5. Integrating climate change into policies and strategies
6. Education and communication
7. reinforcing Guinea's meterological services
8. Risk reduction and management, including immigration
9. Promotion of access to climate finance

The strategy proposes numerous actions and measures to support its overall objectives.
