This USD24m programme highlights the importance of addressing climate change impacts within development strategies. The document sets out the key strategy areas for Ghana to adapt to climate change. It aims to combine the goals of mitigation and low carbon development with that of adaptation and development through:

  • Enhanced competitiveness of Ghana's private sector
  • Accelerated agricultural modernisation and natural resource management
  • Oil and gas development
  • Infrastructure and human settlements development
  • Human development, employment and productivity
  • Transparent and accountable governance
