Decree No. 0919 on the establishment, responsibilities and organization of the General Directorate of Meteorology

Establishes the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) within the Ministry of Transport to develop, propose, and implement Gabon's policy in meteorology, which is defined to include climatology.
 
 Outlines the responsibilities of the DGM, which include:
1) studying atmospheric phenomena and employing their knowledge to protect and preserve Gabon's people, property, economic and social development, and environment
2) maintaining a collection system for meteorological, climatological, and geophysical data.
