Climate targets: Economy-wide

    • unconditional pathway will result in absolute emission levels of 347.3 Mt CO eq in 2 2030, which represents a reduction against the revised BAU of 14% (-56 Mt CO2eq) in 2030. The impact of further policy interventions proposed under the conditional pathway decreases absolute emission levels to 125.8 Mt CO2eq such that the combined impact of unconditional and conditional contributions represents a reduction of 68.8% (-277.7 Mt CO2eq) in comparison with the revised BAU emissions in 2030 From 2016 iNDC: Limit the net greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in 2030 to 145 Mt CO2e or lower
      Economy-wide | Baseline scenario target | Target year: 2030 | Base year: 2021
    • Reduced GHG emission of 147 million Metric tons by 2020 compared with a 2015 baseline
      Economy-wide | Base year target | Target year: 2020 | Base year: 2015
    • Limit 2030 emissions to 150 Mt CO2e (level of 2010 emissions), approximately 250 Mt CO2e less than in the business as usual scenario by 2030
      Economy-wide | Fixed level target | Target year: 2030 | Base year: 2010
