This document regulates emissions from locomotives under the Railway Safety Act

The purpose of these Regulations is to 1) reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and smoke resulting from the operation of locomotives; and 2) establish emission standards and test procedures for locomotives.
