National Climate Change Action Plan for Public Health (2014-2018)
The National Climate Change Action Plan for Public Health (NCCAPPH) provides a set of specific actions and measures in response to the climate change risks and impacts on the public health of the Cambodian population.
The plan establishes the following strategies and actions: 1) to increase resilience capacity of the population in combating vector-borne and water borne diseases arising from climate change; 2) to reduce impacts of extreme weathers and disasters through better emergency preparedness and response plans; 3) to build knowledge of the population and health personnel to cope with climate change impacts.
