Supreme Decree 2912 on the National Forestry Program and reforestation and its implementing strategy

The purpose of this Supreme Decree is to declare the National Afforestation and Reforestation Program - PNFR as a strategic and national priority within the framework of the Economic and Social Development Plan, and to approve the National Implementation Strategy of the PNFR 2016-2030. The implementing strategy is attached to the text of the decree as an annex. 

Article 4 states that the National Implementation Strategy of the PNFR 2016-2030, applies to afforestation and reforestation activities throughout the territory of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, which includes protection, commercial, agro-silvo-pastoral and urban forestry plantations.
The National Strategy for the Implementation of the PNFR 2016-2030 establishes the execution mechanisms of the PNFR, which will be mandatory for the central level of the State and for the autonomous territorial entities and will govern the actions to be developed by the other actors considered in this Supreme Decree.
