Australian National Registry of Emissions Units Act 2011

The Act establishes the Australian National Registry of Emissions Units and details the specifics of its operation, such as the operation of Registry accounts. The Act was most recently amended in late 2014 to account for amendments necessary to account for the passing of the Carbon Farming Initiative Amendment Act 2014.

The Emissions Reduction Fund was established through the Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative) Act 2011 in 2015.
