Climate targets: Economy-wide

    • reduce greenhouse emissions by 26 - 28% below 2005 levels by 2030. "Australia’s emissions projections 2021 demonstrate that we are on track to reduce emissions by up to 35% below 2005 levels by 2030" Adopts a target of net zero emissions by 2050. This is an economy-wide target, covering all sectors and gases included in Australia’s national inventory. 2016 iNDC: 26% to 28% reduction in GHG emissions by 2030 compared to 2005 levels
